Why Zubibook exists

Finding material that is genuinely adapted is harder than it should be

Every child with dyslexia, ADHD or autism is different. Generic material off the internet doesn’t fit, and finding a good one for THEIR age, THEIR difficulty and THEIR language can take hours of searching.

A child’s hands coloring a printed page from the workbook, with the sticker sheet beside it

7.1%

of primary-school children have dyslexia

And the figure keeps climbing across Europe. Millions of families are looking for the same kind of help, each with a different child in front of them.

Source: The Lancet Regional Health – Europe, 2025

2.9%

of children have a diagnosis of ADHD

Also climbing. Many families juggle several difficulties at once and find nothing that takes them into account together.

Generic

is what dominates search engines and marketplaces today

Thousands of identical PDFs, adapted neither to the age nor to the family’s actual language. When it doesn’t fit, the child gets frustrated and the material is abandoned.

Screens and children

The time they spend without a screen in front of them

We are not here to tell you off. We have all handed over the phone to finish a call. But there comes a point when your child asks for it all the time, and when you take it away the world falls apart. The hard part is not switching the screen off: it is having something else ready for the next stretch of time.

A phone face down on the table, next to an open workbook with a pencil and an hourglass

Nine countries say almost the same thing

No screens before the age of two or three, and at most one hour a day up to six. That is the WHO and the paediatricians of Spain, France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy and Portugal. It is not a fad: it is what is on the table.

What the screen takes up

The best-supported idea is not that a screen ruins anything on its own, but that it takes the place of what does build things: talking with you, handling objects, being bored for a while and coming out of it with an idea. An hour of screen is an hour that is not somewhere else.

A sheet of paper has an end

That is the practical difference. The next video starts on its own; a page ends, and you can see where. A Zubibook workbook gives twenty or thirty minutes with a beginning and an end, with their name inside and something to tick off at the finish. And you can sit next to them without having to police anything.

We are not going to tell you a workbook «improves your child’s brain». What it does is fill a stretch of time with a task that starts and finishes. The guide below sets out what the research does say and what it does not, with every study linked one by one.

Workbook cover

Why it is worth it

Not just “another PDF”: the right PDF for your child

Compare it with the two real alternatives a family has today.

A father sitting with his son while he works on a page from the workbook at home

🗂️ Against free generic material

  • Adapted to the exact age, not to “primary school” in general
  • Designed for the specific difficulty, not a random mix
  • Available in the language the family or the school actually uses
  • You can regenerate variants if something is not working

💶 Against buying more therapy sessions

  • Reinforces at home what is worked on in session, at no cost per session
  • The speech therapist or educational psychologist spends their time on what only they can do
  • A complete workbook costs €14, far less than a single private session
  • It never replaces therapy: it fills the gap between sessions

A private speech-therapy session usually costs between €30 and €60 in Spain. A Zubibook workbook costs €14, once, and the Family Subscription €19 a month — less than a single session — with material to practice between sessions all month long. It does not compete with therapy; it makes therapy go further.

FOR TEACHERS AND PROFESSIONALS

Zubi Canvas: you build the workbook

You choose mission by mission what goes into each child’s workbook and see, as you build it, what you are really reinforcing.

The missions, one by one

Put missions in and take them out with a click, filtering by skill, difficulty and type. The ones another page names cannot be removed: Canvas tells you before anything breaks.

And you see the balance

It prints exactly like that

What you build is what the engine makes: the PDF with the child’s name on the cover, in any of the seven languages and with its sticker sheet.

What Zubibook is — and what it is not

Zubibook is not a healthcare provider or an accredited educational centre. We offer support and practice material for use at home, at school or in the clinic. Our material does not replace diagnosis, speech therapy, educational psychology or any professional therapy. If you have concerns about a child’s development or learning, always consult a qualified health or education professional.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you usually ask us

Used warmly and regularly, it does three things at once. It reinforces what is already being worked on: repeated, guided practice is one of the best-supported strategies for consolidating reading and arithmetic, because each repetition automates a step and frees up attention for understanding. It motivates: because the material fits their age, their difficulty and a theme they love (animals, space, the sea…), the child recognizes themselves in it, stays with it and gets less frustrated. And it protects self-esteem: every small, reachable win reinforces the “I can do this”, and interventions that combine practice with positive reinforcement are associated with greater confidence and less anxiety in children with dyslexia. It is not magic and it does not replace therapy: it accompanies, it gives tailored practice, and it gives the child back the feeling that learning can be fun. Indicative basis: HMH, evidence-based strategies · MDPI, 2024, self-esteem and dyslexia.

No. Zubibook is not a healthcare provider or an accredited educational centre. We offer support and practice material for use at home or in the clinic; it does not replace diagnosis, speech therapy, educational psychology or any professional therapy. If you have concerns about your child’s development, always consult a health or education professional.

Our teaching templates are built by reviewing the materials and working guidelines commonly used in dyslexia, ADHD and autism (attention, reading and writing, visual routines, self-regulation), and they are reviewed periodically. The AI combines age, difficulty and language within those already-validated templates; it does not improvise clinical content from scratch.

All seven languages are finished: Spanish, English, German, French, Dutch, Italian and Portuguese. The workbook is generated entirely in the language you choose and is checked sentence by sentence — it is not a shallow machine translation.

Backed by the science

Not magic: just what the research says

Every workbook rests on what works according to studies from several countries: structured, repeated practice, adapted to the child’s profile, with visual supports.

Dyslexia

Structured, early reading intervention improves reading; training fluency and phonological awareness has medium to very large effects (g≈0.7–1.8).

Reading Research Quarterly (2023) · Educational Psychology Review (2024)

ADHD

Short, structured tasks with visual support improve organization, attention (g≈0.5–0.8) and executive function.

Meta-analysis of organizational skills (1,054 children) · digital ADHD interventions

Autism (ASD)

Visual supports and routines are evidence-based practice: they reduce anxiety, provide predictability and improve behaviour and quality of life.

Reviews and meta-analyses in SAGE / ASHA journals

The science backs the method (structured, personalized practice with visual supports). Zubibook is support material: it replaces neither diagnosis nor therapy.

How much you save

Do the maths with us, no rush

You do not have to take our word for it: compare for yourself what it costs today to commission made-to-measure material against what it costs to have Zubibook all month.

A family working together with the printed workbook at the table

💶 Commissioning made-to-measure material or working with a specialist

  • A session with a speech therapist or educational psychologist to prepare adapted material usually runs to €30–45, and can reach €80 depending on the city and the professional
  • Commissioning made-to-measure workbooks or worksheets from a designer or a private teacher is charged per commission, every time the age or the difficulty changes
  • Hunting for something that fits properly can take you a whole afternoon of searching, and often it still does not quite fit

⏱️ With a Zubibook workbook

  • €14 once for the single workbook, or €19 a month with the Family Subscription: less than a single one-off session
  • Zero time preparing material from scratch every week: you pick the profile and you have it in minutes
  • If you pick the wrong workbook or the wrong level we swap it free, as many times as it takes
  • The time you win back each week goes to being with your child, not to hunting down or laying out worksheets

A session with a specialist devoted to preparing material can run to €30–45 (up to €80 in some cases), depending on the city and the professional — that is an indicative figure, every case is different. A Zubibook workbook costs €14, once, brings thirty missions and you print it as often as you like; if you need new material every month, the Family Subscription is €19 a month. On top of that comes the time you no longer spend preparing material each week. Indicative price source: Cronoshare, educational-psychology rates in Spain, 2026.
